Victoria Cano is a writer obsessed with creating fiction that excavates those primordial forces that tease and taunt us. She is as equally inspired by the myth of the minotaur’s mother, Yves Klein blue, and the great state of New Jersey.

She is a 2021 London Writers Award winner. She has been shortlisted for the Bridport Prize and her fiction has appeared in The Forge Literary Magazine. 

She holds a B.A in English/Theatre from Northwestern University and an M.A in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She splits her time between London and Brooklyn. She currently at work on a short story collection and a novel.
